Lyne - Sorry, I should have been more specific about the depth of the drilled hole. I no longer have the plug so the best I can do is try to recreate the size from the void remaining. I just went out and measured from the edge of the carb orifice to the screw and the dimension is 3/16". Let's say the plug was flush (and it was nearly so as best I can recall) then I would say 1/8" max should be the drill hole depth. It didn't take much to pull it out. A sheet metal screw worked for me. Actually, like they say, i'd rather be lucky than good pretty well sums up my original approach to this.
